Meditation Classes in Binghamton, NY
Buddhist Meditation in New York
Dealing with Anger Through Meditation
Saturdays, 10am-12pm
Series runs September 6 – October 25, 2008
(no class October 4)
When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations, we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem. Problems arise only of we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind such as anger. Explore meditations and teachings which will enable us to respond to challenges with a positive and peaceful mind.
Drop-in meditation classes consist of guided meditations, a talk on Buddhist philosophy and discussion.
These classes are suitable for all ranges of experience from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Everyone is welcome – you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from the classes.
Location
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Binghamton
183 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY
$8/talk – drop in to any talk, no pre-registration required
Everyone is welcome!
