Delusions & Actions, Death & Rebirth
Sundays, 4-6pm and 7-9pm
Everyone wants to be happy and no one wants to suffer but very few people understand the real causes of happiness and suffering. Happiness is a state of mind, so the real source of happiness must lie within the mind. If our mind is positive and peaceful, we shall be happy, regardless of our external circumstances, but if it is negative and unpeaceful we can never be truly happy.
Join Kelsang Dao, resident teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York as she explains:
~ how to identify and abandon our negative states of mind (delusions) such as anger and desirous attachment and as a result experience real happiness
~ what happens when we die and afterwards, and how to have a peaceful death and rebirth.
KMC NY offers a Foundation Program based on two classes a week: Sundays, 4:00-6:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A delicious vegetarian supper is served between the two classes.
The class is currently studying Joyful Path of Good Fortune.
